Two committees of the upper house of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation for defense and security and international Affairs discussed the preparation of the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the end of the Second world war. The Federation Council plans to appeal to the peoples and parliaments of countries with an appeal not to admit revision of results of war. As stated by the Chairman of the Committee on international Affairs Konstantin Kosachev, the Federation Council condemned the attempts to falsify history, and also invites the countries of the world together to protect the monument to Soviet soldiers.
In anticipation of the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the great Patriotic war Russian parliamentarians and diplomats are preparing a series of documents calling the peoples of the world to rally around the important for all countries without exception dates and to refuse attempts of revision of history.
At the joint meeting of the Federation Council Committee on international Affairs and Committee on defense and security was presented a draft appeal to the parliaments and peoples of the world urging them to fight against revision of results of war. As stated by Konstantin Kosachev, the project aims to condemn States and individuals who are pursuing a policy of falsification of history.
In particular, according to Kosachev, the invalid is the attempt of glorification of fascist, Nazi, Bandera and other military formations who fought on the side of the Third Reich and its allies.
the MP also noted that the outcome of the events of the Second world was summed up special military Tribunal in Nuremberg, which clearly named the culprits in fomenting war and war crimes. Any review of decisions of the Tribunal, according to Kosachev, it is possible to regard as criminal the actions of a number of “opponents of Russia”

It is not only of scientific discussion. Such actions are immoral, illegitimate in nature and the criminal to those who gave their lives for the liberation of the world from obvious evil.
