MOSCOW, 29 Sep – RIA Novosti. The U.S. Department of justice and the Federal aviation administration (FAA) to investigate long-standing problems of quality control of the Assembly of the Boeing 737 MAX, according to the Wall Street Journal, citing sources.
Earlier media reported the discovery of foreign objects in the fuel tanks of several aircraft Boeing, as a result, the company was forced to begin testing the new 737 MAX.
the Department “carefully examine a potentially serious security problems arising from errors in the production of the 737 MAX,” the newspaper writes. The Ministry of justice and the FAA are studying production problems, which may indicate violations of the company’s mandatory security requirements.
