Vice-President Mike Pence during a visit to a clinic in Minnesota has ignored the recommendation to close the face mask. Later his refusal, he explained that it is not infected COVID-19 and regularly makes tests for coronavirus.
Pence was reminded that the centers for control and prevention of diseases of the United States and made recommendations for masks, has recognized that potential carriers of the coronavirus can in this way prevent transmission of the virus to others. “Since I have no coronavirus, I found a clinic visit a good opportunity to look employees in the eye and thank them”, – quotes Pence TASS, citing CNN.
meanwhile, in early April, American experts have adjusted their stance and encouraged all to close the face cloth masks. The US President Donald trump has hinted that he will not use a mask, for which he was heavily criticized. The White house, however, left members of his administration the right to decide to use the personal protective equipment at the briefings or not.
According to the latest Johns Hopkins University, in the United States recorded more than a million cases of infection with coronavirus, died 58.4 thousand people. The number of cases of the US are the leaders in the world.
