The Ministry of foreign Affairs of Ukraine responded to Georgia’s plans to recall its Ambassador from Kiev in case of appointment of Mikhail Saakashvili Deputy Prime Minister. On Tuesday, April 28, according to “Ukrainian news”.
The press service of the foreign Ministry said it had not received official request from Tbilisi about a possible recall of the Ambassador. On the question whether Kiev to respond to the warning, the Georgian Prime Minister George Gakharia, the Ministry stated that for such decisions there is an established procedure.
The foreign Ministry stressed that Ukraine considers Georgia as a trusted friend and ally and looked forward to further development of strategic partnership.
