The Austrian authorities are going from may 1 to lift restrictions on access to the street for the population, imposed in connection with the pandemic coronavirus. This was announced on Tuesday, the head of the Ministry of healthcare Rudolf Unsober.
"Today we can declare that we can terminate restrictions at the exit to the street. We don’t need to renew, from the perspective of the present day and as data today. Instead, we turn to the open order. This rule means that from 1 may until the end of June we will be at a stage at which citizens will be allowed to go and where you will need to keep a distance of one meter from people who are not living in the same apartment," the Minister said at a press conference in Vienna.
