The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, decided to soften the restrictions imposed in the Republic of coronavirus, and requested to consider the possibility of their gradual abolition. This was reported on his page in “Vkontakte”.
According to Kadyrov, at a regular meeting of the operational headquarters, it became known that the restrictive measures are justified — in particular, “decreased the aggressiveness of the virus.”
Since April 13 the residents of Chechnya was forbidden to leave home or to travel on Sundays. In addition, the Republic has introduced throughput mode for trips to stores or pharmacies, or for other emergency cases. As said the head of the operational headquarters for the fight against coronavirus in the region Magomed Daudov, each family will be issued one pass, it will indicate the time and days of the week for leaving home within the area.
April 17, Kadyrov declared strict quarantine on the territory of Chechnya on the weekend. According to his order, on Saturdays and Sundays on the street were allowed to be doctors, road builders, utility workers and emergency services, as well as those who have special permits. The head of Chechnya stressed that the restrictions relating to including officials, otherwise they would be fired.
On 27 April, in Chechnya, was 429 cases of infection with coronavirus, 5 people died, 22 recovered.
