The summit in the "Normandy format" yet does not make sense because of the position of the Ukrainian authorities. This was stated on Monday the Minister of foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov, gave a lecture via videoconference to students MGIMO.

The Minister explained that Germany, as the agenda of the forthcoming Ministerial contact "Norman Quartet" made items "only about the exchange of detainees, about mine, about security, about access of Special monitoring mission of OSCE in the territory of the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Lugansk republics".
According to Lavrov, have "big battle" to "force Kiev, Berlin and Paris to talk about why not run the political Affairs of the French summit".
