"Yandex" not going to disable "Conversations" in your browser, but the app should not be a platform for political debate. This was stated by TASS on Tuesday in a press-service of the company.
"We will not close "Conversations", as we believe that communication drivers that are on the same road, is a necessary part of the navigation service. However, we would like to remind you that "Conversations" and other designations on the map are intended to inform users about the current traffic situation" – said the company.
The press service stressed that "Yandex.Navigator" and "Yandex.Card" can’t be a platform for expressing views on political issues.
The company said it will continue to improve the algorithms "Conversations" and to develop service users who are in close proximity to each other on the road.
"In the service will automatically be limited to messages that are published not at the point where the user is located, as it is contrary to the essence of the service joint discussion of the traffic situation," added "Yandex".
