“When after a month of isolation, I read how people treated kindly by the actor-priest Ivan Okhlobystin comes in with their entire extended family on Easter guarded by the police service, I am a beast,” — said Vodonaeva.
According to the leader, no decent words to describe her opinion about such actions. “Why because of these people I have to sit in quarantine for God knows how long!?” — she was indignant. She called Okhlobystin “court jester”, which did not explain the sense of isolation.
Vodonaeva added that it is because of such irresponsible people, as in Russia, the number of infected is growing all the time. “I was just in shock!” — said the presenter, explaining that the decision of the actor is not even affected by the fact that his daughter had previously discovered coronavirus.
Easter service “for the elite” was held in Moscow in the night of Sunday, April 19, despite the current ban on mass gatherings because of the threat of the spread of coronavirus. The service was held in the Church of Holy Wisdom, located on the island of Balchug in front of the Kremlin.
