More than half of residents of Japan (53%) did not approve of the government’s action against coronavirus infection and the support of the population during a pandemic.

While half of the respondents appreciated the financial assistance in the amount of 100 thousand yen ($926), and the vast majority (83%) supported the introduction of the country’s state of emergency.
