MOSCOW, 20 APR – RIA Novosti. The employee of police was killed and one policeman was wounded in a shooting in the canadian province of Nova Scotia, said local police.
Earlier it was reported that law enforcement authorities of the canadian province of Nova Scotia have arrested a man who opened fire on people in Portapak. According to police, 51-year-old Gabriel Wortman the evening of 18 April and opened fire on the crowd and there are several victims. As the police said, the shooter was apprehended several hours later and taken into custody.
Authorities also announced that one of the police officers got wounds, not life-threatening. He is now hospitalized. In turn, the chief superintendent of the local police Chris Leserman noted that the shooting led to a high number of casualties.
