Russia is now an emergency time, said press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov in interview to journalists of the program “Moscow. The Kremlin. Putin” for “Russia 1”, reports TASS.

Peskov explained that the job of President Vladimir Putin during a conference call does not change the activities of the head of state, as it continues on a daily basis and work very hard.
“It is a daily topic for the President, I would say — sometimes even hourly,” — said the press Secretary of the Russian leader, speaking about the work on coordination of measures to combat coronavirus.
During the same interview Peskov predicted that next week Russia will reach the so-called plateau in the number of new detected cases of infection with coronavirus. Further decisions on measures to curb the spread of infection will be taken at the same time, said the representative of the Kremlin.
In Russia recorded more than 42 thousand cases of infection with coronavirus, 27 thousand of them were revealed last week, and almost 11 thousand for the last two days. Nearly 3.3 million people have fully recovered, 361 patients died.
