The leader of LDPR Vladimir Zhirinovsky has suggested to arrest members of the Communist party, if they are in the birthday of Vladimir Lenin April 22, will take part in the traditional laying flowers at the mausoleum on red square despite the epidemiological situation. This year the Communists are celebrating 150-summer anniversary from the birthday of the founder of the Soviet state.
"We all need to be in isolation. And if the Communists refuse to comply with these General terms and still go to the mausoleum (the more, they can join some irresponsible citizens to the participation in promotions just to walk on red square), we offer their entire delegation to arrest and ultimately to dissolve and ban the Communist party" – quoted in Saturday Zhirinovsky’s words a press-party service.
The liberal democratic party also appeals to law enforcement agencies calling for "strictly prohibit these actions because this is a flagrant violation of the rule of law in the period of epidemic".

Earlier, first Deputy Chairman of the Duma Committee on education and science, MP from the Communist Oleg Smolin said that the party decided to postpone a large-scale celebration of the 150th anniversary of the birth of Lenin in the autumn of coronavirus.
