President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov asked the Federal government to provide individual entrepreneurs (IP) and self-employed unemployment benefits, the press service of the head of the Republic.
"According to the decree of the government of the Russian Federation of 12 April unemployment benefits in the amount of 12130 rubles is necessary to the citizens dismissed and recognized in the prescribed manner unemployed since March 1, 2020. In this category do not fall individual entrepreneurs and self-employed.
Rustam Minnikhanov sent a letter to the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail mishustina with a request to include them in the list below, these citizens could also obtain support in this difficult time", – stated in the message.
The press service said that in relation to self-employed we are talking about those who at least once paid the tax on professional income.
According to the tax authorities only at the beginning of 2020 in Tatarstan were registered as self-employed more than 64 thousand people, including about 5 thousand self-employed from other regions, who chose the Republic to conduct it business activities under the new tax regime.
