According to doctor of political Sciences, Professor of MGIMO Elena Ponomareva, the Kosovo issue is the most sensitive for Serbia not only in the “triad Berlin” in relations with NATO, but in the context of the development of the strategic partnership with Russia, which advocates for the achievement of the Belgrade-Pristina viable and mutually acceptable solution on the Kosovo settlement on the basis of Resolution 1244 of the UN security Council.
“seems the Optimal scenario is the status quo in Kosovo, which allows to preserve stability in the region until reaching an equitable against the Serbs solutions – emphasizes authoritative balkanist. – Search of such a withdrawal requires the ability to find compromises, but when they are found, need to comply with them. Emir Kusturica wrote a philosophical text called “Smoothing memory” on the importance of preservation of truth in the context of ongoing expansion of the West to the East, accompanied by a powerful information attacks.
