Researchers found the planet can be very similar to ours in size and temperature on its surface.
Scientists from NASA have discovered a planet similar to Earth in size and comes from the calculations of the temperature. The researchers suggest that this planet is located at a distance of 300 light years from our own, could potentially be habitable.
Experts the planet, named Kepler-1649c when I looked through old surveillance telescope “Kepler”, which the Agency ceased in 2018. The space body is in an orbit of rotation around the star of their system, which is optimal for the existence of life forms and the presence on its surface of water in liquid form.
This newly discovered planet is only 1.06 times larger than the Earth. Furthermore, the amount of stellar light that it gets is 75% of the amount of light that comes to Earth from our Sun.
“This intriguing distant world gives us more hope that the second Earth is among the stars, waiting for her to find,” said the associate administrator of science mission Directorate NASA Washington, Thomas Zurbuchen.

While Kepler-1649c is still much unknown. Current calculations of the size of the planet can have quite a large error, and its atmosphere is not so well studied. However, research in this area is actively underway and, perhaps, humanity will soon be able to learn more about the “double” of the Earth.
