Earlier, the Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin has offered to check for us citizenship a state Duma Deputy from the Communist party of Denis Parfenov. Parfenov, in turn, said that the need to check “all State Duma”, including the faction “United Russia”, the members of which, according to data from social networks, there are foreign citizenship.
“At the moment of registration of candidates the CEC and law enforcement agencies carry out checks, including on compliance with all restrictions prescribed by the law on the status of the Deputy. Questions on compliance with these restrictions to the deputies of the faction “United Russia” no,” said Arshba.
According to him, if a person has serious sources of information and specific facts, he may use available legal mechanisms to appeal to the CEC and law enforcement agencies, as well as in the Duma Commission, and test the data.
