The President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky on Tuesday said that the number of infected coronavirus infection in the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra reached nearly 100 people. On Friday, the mayor of Kiev Vitali Klitschko said seven new cases of infection in the monastery. Kiev-Pechersk Lavra was closed for quarantine due to the outbreak of coronavirus, the access of believers to the monastery ceased.

According to the press service, all patients are in isolation in the dormitory of the Academy under the supervision of physicians.
