MOSCOW, April 16/ Radio Sputnik. The Georgian authorities from 17 to 21 April imposed a ban on movement of cars in the country to take this step they decided to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection. Reported Thursday RIA Novosti citing a statement by the representative of the Prime Minister, Irakli Chikovani.
the Georgian Government had decided to extend the state of emergency until may 10, with denied entry to the country’s large cities, particularly in Tbilisi and departure from them. In addition, the country has a universal quarantine and a curfew from 21:00 to 6:00 (from 20:00 to 5:00 Moscow time). The air service was suspended in all States until 30 April.
“tomorrow from 12:00 (11:00 Moscow time – ed.) introduced a ban on movement across the country of all types of passenger cars until April 21,” – said Chikovani.
He explained that the decision taken by the authorities because of numerous violations of the regime of self-isolation.
