Many Romanians would like to strengthen relations with Russia, not with the United States, follows from the results of a survey conducted by the Romanian Institute for public opinion research (IRSOP).
The majority of Romanians would like to develop relations with the European Union, the figure was 52%. 14% of respondents were in favour of strengthening relations with Russia, 13% from USA and 7% from China, reports TASS.

The survey was devoted mainly to the attitude of the Romanians to the pandemic coronavirus. 54% of respondents said that the primary feeling they have now is fear. 81% believe that the crisis will be long and difficult, and 86% believe that after the completion of the epidemic, life will be difficult for a long time. 50% of Romanians, called the actions “a bad or very bad”, 49% “good or very good.”
The survey was conducted April 6-11 on the phone, it was attended by 768 people over the age of 18.
In Romania, according to the latest data, the number of people infected with coronavirus is 6 thousand 633, 914 people were cured, 318 patients died. On March 16, the country has a regime of emergency.
