the Moscow city court reduced the sentence to the defendant in the “Moscow business” Nikita Circulo to 11 months in prison and released him in the courtroom. Chirtsov was sentenced to a year in prison under part 1 of article 318 of the criminal code (use of violence against a representative of authorities).
According to the prosecution, on the action against the non-admission of independent candidates to the elections to the Moscow city Duma on 27 July Chirtsov intentionally pushed a police officer with both hands in the chest and caused him physical pain. The injured policeman at one of the meetings said that felt no pain, but “just moved back”. He also refused the monetary compensation of 15 thousand rubles, which he moved side Chirtsova.
Lawyer Alexander Borkov, who represented Chirtsova in court, according to “OVD-info” that the judge ruled out the use of violence as an aggravating feature and on this basis reduced the sentence to 11 months. Chirtsov was arrested on 27 July in Moscow and fined 12 thousand rubles under article about violation of the rules of the campaign (part 5 of article 20.2 of the administrative code). Chirtsova Subsequently declared wanted in the case of violence against a representative of authorities and participation in “mass riots” (article 212 of the criminal code).
