China is conducting active propaganda on the spread of the coronavirus. Beijing is trying to cast doubt on the role of China as the country of origin of the infection. This was stated by the German intelligence service.
The Department argued that the representatives of China have repeatedly contacted the officials of the German government on the subject of positive assessment of the efforts of China in combating coronavirus. Beijing tries to emphasize their actions in aid of the Western countries, presenting itself as a reliable partner, cope with the crisis.
In this regard, the German foreign Ministry advised other ministries to respond to requests of China, reports the newspaper Welt am Sonntag.
Earlier NEWS.ru wrote that foreign Minister of Germany Heiko Maas criticized China and the United States for action against the pandemic. According to him, Beijing has taken an overly authoritarian measures, but Washington has for too long been given the problem adequate attention.
