In the Mexican Ministry of health has expressed outrage after the attack on nurses working with patients who have the coronavirus. They stressed that doctors will soon become the main in the fight against the pandemic.
“We are extremely outraged and concerned that health workers are attacked. It is outrageous that there are those guides offer different basic feelings like fear and anger at the doctors who protect them”, – said the Deputy head of the Ministry of health of Mexico, Hugo Lopez-Gatel.
He noted that attacks on doctors are happening in public places and in transport. In this case the doctors will not be able to protect. Lopez-Gatel reminded that the incidence in the country is growing rapidly, and doctors “will be the main actors in controlling the spread of coronavirus”.
Three doctors from the Mexican Institute of social insurance have been killed in the state of Morelos in the Central part of the country as a result of assault, according to El Norte. Unknown robbed the medics near the site of the sale of alcohol. They stole the keys to the car doctors and opened fire on them.
