Siberian state University of science and technology named after academician Mikhail Fedorovich Reshetnev has patented a force field to protect people from radiation during space flights. This is stated in the message published on the website of Rospatent.
“the Invention relates to methods and means of protection of crew and equipment from ionizing radiation (charged particles of high energy) in space missions and can also be used to generate electricity on Board the spacecraft and management of energy parameters of the protective electrostatic and magnetic fields”, – informs the Agency.
