The number of bankruptcy cases, divorces and employment disputes will increase after the end of the regime of self-isolation. This opinion was expressed by the Plenipotentiary representative of the Russian government in the constitutional and Supreme courts of Russia Mikhail Barshchevsky, speaking at the St. Petersburg international legal forum "9 1/2: the Laws of coronavirus".
"a Few areas I’ll call you, where will the largest number of cases since mid-summer. First, it divorces, China has shown that this prediction will come true 100%. The second thing is bankruptcy – personal and corporate. The third labour disputes that arise (compensation, payment, illegal dismissal)," he said.
"the World after a pandemic will be different"
Also, according to Barshchevsky, will increase the number of cases of criminal offenses related to fraud and abuse of position.
"unfortunately, the virus is designed so that when the economy is pouring trillions of rubles, understood completely [they are] "stick" to the hands of the unscrupulous . I think that will be a lot of work in these areas," he added.
St. Petersburg international legal forum will be held April 10-12 in an online format. It was established in 2011 under the support of Russian President Vladimir Putin and the Ministry of justice of the Russian Federation. Over the years of its existence the forum has become the world’s leading platform for discussing important issues facing the international legal community.
