Moscow authorities have decided to strengthen the isolation measures, faced with the disobedience of the citizens. This was stated by Deputy mayor for social development Anastasia Rakova, according to RIA Novosti.
According to her, on the outside of the first week Muscovites were disciplined and responsibly comply with the regime of self-isolation. The city dramatically reduced the number of pedestrians and cars. But then the situation changed.
“In the second week we can see that the people relaxed and began to ignore the rules. Dramatically increased the number of cars on the streets and just walking people. All this could not fail to prompt us to tighten the rules,” said Rakova.
She noted that the city authorities are closely monitoring the epidemiological situation.
We will remind, the mayor introduced from April 13 to April 19 a number of new restrictions in connection with the spread of the new coronavirus infection.
Earlier, the “Rambler” reported that a Kremlin spokesman called the situation in Moscow is heavy.
