27 years old.
as long As the have the just published møgsag on the Police’s erroneous use of at least 669 people’s names found place.
according to an email sent from the ministry of Justice to rigspolitichef Thorkild Fogde, as B. T. is come into possession of.
Here informs the ministry in a total of nine points, which politibossen within 12. June is to explain about the matter.
And one of the items is the following:
‘the tv station nature and the reason for the errors could occur and could continue in the period 1993-2020,’ stands there in the mail from the ministry.
Therefore, more than a quarter of a century, where the errors happened.
In the same mail also, that it must forward the severity of the impact the errors had on the individual citizen, whose name is used in the cases, they have nothing to do.
To the faults of the citizens ‘ names has happened in the 27 year arouses indignation at Christiansborg.
“It’s crazy, that it here has been going on since 1993, and almost being discovered by chance, because a police district would like to have corrected some errors,” says SFs spokesman, Karina Lorentzen.
Also the Danish people’s party spokesman, Peter Skaarup, comes with harsh criticism.
“It is appalling, if there have been flaws in the Police systems in so many years, without this being detected. It is, of course, in its place, that the minister now respond with some questions, but it is the least of it,” he says and adds:
“What is worse, is that there are apparently some of the Police, that is not their job, and not have had a track on it by far back in time. The citizens can under no circumstances be served with.”
And it is not the first time a scandal hits the Police use of the data.
Last year came forward, that there was teledataskandale from the Police.
So it is the second time in a rather short time, that there will be cases about Police problems with the use of the data.
“The scandal attaches itself on top of a teledataskandale, which has lasted since 2011. It leaves a very bad impression of the Police’s ability to handle the data at all,” said Karina Lorentzen.
Justice minister Nick Hækkerup (S) has already stated that he believes that it is a serious mistake, the Police have committed.
“I am going to follow the clean-up operation closely, and I will inform Parliament about the results of this, when the work is completed. It is not surprisingly essential to me that the Police have a handle on its data management,” he says.
