A 260-metre-long bridge in the northern part of Italy, it’s Wednesday suddenly crash together out of the blue.
It is usually a very popular bridge, but corona-the quarantine may have saved many lives in this situation.
It was Wednesday morning around 10.30 a.m., to the bridge, which is located at the Italian city of Aulla, suddenly fell together. Two trucks were on the bridge when it happened, writes Reuters.
Both drivers have been taken to a nearby hospital, but the message is that they should be escaped with less damage.
Usually a Wednesday morning is a busy time on the bridge, but here is one of the few times that the coronavirus might have done something good. Because of the quarantine, the roads almost completely empty, and therefore it was really only two trucks, which were implicated.
the Reason for the bridge’s collapse is still unknown, but it has been under study for a longer period of time, which, among others, transport minister Paola de Micheli has called for a report on the bridge.
It is not the first time that the italians have problems with the bridges. In 2018 dropped a highway bridge together in Genoa, and the accident killed 43 people.
the Company ANAS has built on the bridge since november, after it was hit by a powerful storm. The grants, however, that none of their employees was on the bridge when it happened.
