the Russian government amid falling oil prices, decided to ban the import to Russia of oil products.
This is done in order to prevent the supply of cheap gasoline to the domestic market, says RBC with reference to one of the participants of the fuel market and the three Federal officials. Overseas fuel prices dropped after oil, and in Russia the price is almost unchanged from the regulation.
a proposal was made by the energy Ministry, and the relevant Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Borisov supported him.
the Ban will be introduced in the near future, but first companies will simply announce the decision. Legally it will be fixed later.
