Some of the world’s best comedians are available via strømmetjenester. These you should get with you if you like standup:
“Nanette”
Who: Hannah Gadsby
When: 2018
See it: Netflix
This talked “all” about in just about all of last year. You have not yet seen it, there is no reason to wait: This set is worth the Netflix subscription alone, maybe with also the screen you see it on. Gadsby has found a unique way to use really good humor to convey important perspectives about the LGBTQ+ and mental health. The performance is a show of storytelling and dramaturgy. The words important and humor is difficult to reconcile without being too sweet and understand.
If you do not are left with wide open mouth after this, you need to repair your mouth.
“Tries Stand-Up For The First Time”
Who: Rory Scovel
When: 2017
See it: Netflix
Rory Scovel launched this specialen with the misleading title in 2017, after to have made “The Charleston Special” in 2015. His uncompromising and strange style gets the audience on the team immediately – clearly relieved to drop the classic standup floskler a la “Is it someone from Tønsberg here or, haha”. The kit is an impressive show of absurd humour, a genre that quickly succumbs to the stop button if it is treated incorrectly.
Rory Scovel master of the genre so well that he just as well could written syllabus in the.
“Boyish Girl Interrupted”
Who: Tig Notaro
When: 2015
See it: HBO Nordic
Tig Notaros eternal deadpan-sight and innovative, genierklærte lyrics is a deadly combination that consistently provides standup shows her both Emmy and Grammy nominations. With “Boyish Girl Interrupted”, she takes hold of his own emotional life in the years before had been put to the test with both double breast cancer and death in the near family.
This makes she so honest, intelligent and original humor.
“Hitler’s Dog, Gossip & Trickery”
Who: Norm MacDonald
When: 2017
See it: Netflix
Ah, the wonderful Norm. In my opinion perhaps the world’s best standup comedian, the world’s best talk show host, and world’s best man. Norm macdonald’s humor is based mainly on the film noir-troops in, gammelmodigheter and obsolete words. Completely magical. Have a little patience, so will this charming canadieren get under the skin of you.
This specialen is a nice introduction to Norm macdonald’s unpredictable humor.
Who: Jen Kirkman
When: 2016
See it: Netflix
California-comedian Jen Kirkman has done standup on the biggest scenes in Los Angeles since 1997, and has in recent years received much attention for the podcast “In the Seem Fun” and the book “I Can Barely Take Care of Myself: Tales From a Happy Life Without Kids” about life as voluntarily childless. Kirkmans first Netflix special is about singellivet after the age of 40 – which mostly revolves around the children and the newly converted parents. Kirkman has a wonderful stoner outlook on life.
She paints the devil on the wall with a language that can strike down even the most fervent epicurean.
“Killin’ Them Softly”
HAS WITHSTOOD the test of TIME.
Photo: STUART RAMSON / Scanpix
Who: Dave Chappelle
When: 2000
See it: HBO Nordic
Dave Chappelle had, by the turn of the millennium have already been in komikermiljøet in a number of years, and had, among other things, appeared on Def Comedy Jam on HBO in 1992. In 2000, he got his first HBO special, and the result is a hilarious showdown with american raserelasjoner. Rolling Stone Magazine voted in 2015 this is set to be the sixth best standup-specialen ever.
Chappelles unique storytelling abilities make that “Killin’ Them Softly” has withstood the test of capricious tooth with flying colors.

SEIZE the OPPORTUNITY: the Notion extend our condolences with the Else Kåss Furuseth you can look to the 19.april.
Who: Else Kåss Furuseth
When: 2016
See it: NRK TV
It might not standup, but “extend our condolences” is a so well-written and impressive piece of scenearbeid that everyone should get it. Occasionally very funny, occasionally very touching. Kåss Furuseths notion of suicide in the family attracted awards and praise from virtually anyone who opened his mouth in the months after the premiere of the Torshovteateret in 2011. “Extend our condolences” was eventually moved to the main Stage at the national theatre.
Occasionally very funny, occasionally very touching.
