the Lack of protective equipment in the Danish healthcare system are being remedied by private individuals, small businesses and others who have access to a 3d printer.

One of them is Jonas Damm Sørensen, who is co-founder of the Facebook group “UK Makers against Corona.”

Jonas Damm Hermansen does not have an overview of how many visors the group has made in total.

– But we’re up to producing about 3000 visors in a day, he says.

In the course of the last few days, the group made contracts for the supply of visors among other Region Sjælland and Region Syddanmark.

in Addition, the group has sent the visors to several of the country’s hospitals, which have had a lack of them. Including The National University Hospital.

The home-made visors fall on a dry place for the Danish health care professionals.

the Staff in the hospital care and the care of older people are nervous that there is not enough protective equipment, when for daily is at work.

It was the overall message at Friday’s news conference on coronasituationen.
