– This is someone who has a little well “røslige” quotas.
It says Kjersti Bråthen, acting head of department at customs service in Kongsvinger.
on Wednesday afternoon stopped namely the customs, a car just north of the Magnormoen checkpoint on the border to Sweden.
In the car sat two guys in the 60 – and 70-years. In it had the goods that were not purchased in Norway, and they also had goods that exceeded tollkvotene considerably.
Customs also found two backpacks in the car, and I think the guys had filled up the bags with the goods and gone over the border.
Bar of 20 kg each
One of the measures under the korona crisis is “closed” borders. If you travel for example to Sweden, to trade goods, you must in two weeks of quarantine upon return.

This has several tried to work around, and a good part has chosen to take the old dirt roads and trails over the border, to sneak away from the controls of the customs and the police.
But the two guys from the Kongsvinger area was discovered.
For in the car, it was made up 41,2 litres of spirits, 7,75 kg of tobacco, a pint of brandy, with over 60 per cent alcohol and 3 litres of wine.
It may, they have gone two walks, I don’t know how strong they are. But they have carried about 20 kilos each, ” says Bråthen.
Several people have done the same
She tells us that they have had many such seizures and cases since the new innreisereglene came into force.
– We have not had so many such cases. We have been given the hint that several people have been creative and taken the bike and the legs begin. But this is not something we prioritize. This is not a big smuglingsforsøk. We aren’t all on this, ” tells Bråthen.
Since the seizure was so large the case was transferred to the police. Both men have been in questioning with the police and explained himself.
