“We are monitoring the situation on the food market is literally online, and promptly respond to the needs of regional businesses and trade organizations. The regions form at least a two-month supply of food, but peak loads on the stores already passed, and prerequisites for increased demand there,” – said Abramchenko.
However at the moment the Ministry develop additional measures to ensure the country’s food supply. So, according to the representative of the Ministry of agriculture, from April 1 to June 30, 2020, introduced quotas on grain exports in the amount of 7 million tons. The Ministry also began work on the preparation of commodity interventions of grain. The authorities expect that these measures will contribute to the supply of grain for use by farmers on the domestic market.
