Philippe Lesage’s new film, Comme le feu, will have its world premiere at the prestigious Berlin International Film Festival.

The feature film was selected in the Generation category, dedicated to young audiences.

Like Fire tells the story of 17-year-old Jeff as he is invited by a friend’s family to stay at a secluded estate deep in the woods where a great director lives.

Written and directed by Philippe Lesage (The Demons, Genesis), the film stars Noah Parker, Aurélia Arandi-Longpré, Arieh Worthalter, Paul Ahmarani, Sophie Desmarais and Irène Jacob.

Before turning to fiction, the filmmaker won the Jutra for best feature-length documentary with Ce Coeur Qui Bat, released in 2012.

The 74th edition of the Berlin International Film Festival will run from February 15 to 25, 2024.
