While on stage with some of the cast of the film Dune: Part Two during an event in Brazil, actress Florence Pugh was hit in the face by an object.

The incident occurred last Sunday at the CCXP convention in São Paulo, when the British actress was posing with some of the saga’s co-stars, including Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya and Austin Butler. Director Denis Villeneuve was also present on stage.

In a video published on X and which many American media reported, we see an object coming from the public hitting Florence Pugh in the face. The latter, who seems surprised but not injured, then bends down to pick up the projectile.

The name of Florence Pugh is added to a list of stars who have received objects thrown by spectators in recent months. Singers Harry Styles, Bebe Rexha, Billie Eilish and Ariana Grande have also been targeted in the past.

Remember that Dune: Part Two will be released on March 1, 2024.
