(Montreal) Denys Arcand’s latest film continues its journey in English Canada. Testament will be on display in various cities in Western Canada, Ontario and Nova Scotia starting Friday.
The 11th feature film by the Quebec filmmaker reached revenues of $1.5 million in theaters in Quebec, which would make it the best theatrical release in the province since March 2020.
Testament notably stars Rémy Girard in the lead role of Jean-Michel, a 70-year-old bachelor who has lost all his bearings in today’s society.
Sophie Lorain, Marie-Mai, Guylaine Tremblay, Denis Bouchard, Caroline Néron and Clémence Desrochers are also part of the cast.
