This fall, the Camellia Sinensis tea house is preparing to celebrate its 25th anniversary.
The opportunity to discover the brand new premises of the mother boutique, rue Émery in Montreal, inaugurated last summer, with a concept focused on discovery and exchanges around tea, or to go to the two other boutiques (Marché Jean -Talon and Saint-Roch district, in Quebec). Attention chocolate lovers: to mark its quarter century, Camellia Sinensis has teamed up with the artisanal chocolate factory Dicitte, to make 1000 bars called Lady Camellia Wulong, a 67% dark chocolate made from cocoa from Piura, Peru , and wulong tea from Fujian (China). Made in a limited edition, this high-end chocolate demonstrates a beautiful depth of taste, with a pronounced attack and delightful aromas of roasted tea emerging on the finish. As a bonus, to imitate Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, a unique golden ticket has been slipped into one of the packages, offering the chance to win a year’s worth of tea.
