The airline Air Canada has become a pioneer in entertainment: it is the first carrier to offer original Canadian Audible productions to its passengers.

The new feature will be offered through the on-board entertainment system, featuring audio books and podcasts, totaling 160 hours of content, in French and English.

The catalog, which focuses on variety and national productions, offers for example Sidney Crosby: the rookie year, Roudoudous en Lapland, Hands down on the world, Seven Truths, or even Women Talking. It should expand over the coming years.

Air Canada is thus enhancing its entertainment offering, having doubled its audiovisual content available over the past year, in addition to offering a free text messaging service to Aeroplan members on its WiFi-equipped devices and live broadcasts of Canadian television channels.
