This summer, many morning people meditated at sunrise, in front of the river, on the Quai Frontenac in Quebec.
On Saturday, September 9, there will be a more ambitious gathering, called PRESENT, at Station de la Voile (1331 Champlain Boulevard).
The event will begin at 5:45 a.m. with a concert by Ghostly Kisses, an artist from Quebec. Marie Ève Lécine, from Let it Be Meditation, will then lead a workshop, which will be followed by a lecture by Erik Giasson, aka the “yogi of Wall Street”.
There will also be entertainment for toddlers, a lunch truck, the making of a giant chalk mandala, exhibitor stands, etc. Free sunrise meditations on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday mornings continue through October 7. The information can be found on Facebook.
