By the admission of the Turkish-born chef, who has lived in Quebec for more than 25 years, September is her favorite month, when abundance and some of her favorite foods – eggplants, tomatoes – are on the menu.

And this is the perfect opportunity to discover Bika Ferme

Precisely, reservations for the month of September have just opened and, at the time of writing these lines, there were still several time slots to discover the delights of this country restaurant located in Saint-Blaise-sur-Richelieu.

In addition to its bucolic setting, where you can admire, from the magnificent greenhouse where customers are welcomed, the gardens that the chef and her team pamper with a lot of love (and arm juice!) during the summer season, Bika offers a experience focused on eco-responsibility and sustainability, an encounter between fine Turkish cuisine and local Quebec products.

On the plate, you will of course find fresh products from the gardens or homemade preserves, or even fruits, vegetables, animal or vegetable proteins sourced in the region and processed on site. Even the ceramic dishes (Céramik B) or the cups (Makiko) come from local artisans.

Two formulas are offered, tasting menu style: lunch (Saturday and Sunday) at the price of $135 per person or dinner (Friday and Saturday) at $185 per person, and the menu changes every day, according to the inspirations and arrivals. Service is included and you can bring your own alcohol to accompany your meal.

Note that reservations for the following month open on the 20th of the previous month and that this year, Bika will be in action until December. For October, circle September 20 on your calendar!
