The Los Angeles Clippers would like to play for the championship in the NBA. But recently the team gained unwanted attention with completely different incidents. There were several ugly moments in the crowd at home games.
The Los Angeles Clippers have had a rather disappointing season so far. Despite starting out as a contender for the 2023 NBA championship, the Clippers are down 20-21 halfway through the season as of January 10.
But while things haven’t really taken off on the field – in part as superstars Paul George and Kawhi Leonard are once again missing many games – the franchise has also been generating negative headlines off the field in recent weeks.
First, a Clippers superfan Darrell was punched by a security guard, who was subsequently arrested and has since been fired, and now, during the half-time loss to the Atlanta Hawks, a brawl broke out between two heavyset men in the stands.
But that’s not even the whole story of this game. While trying to snag a free t-shirt, a woman jumped onto the tarpaulin covering the tunnel to the changing rooms. The tarpaulin collapsed and the woman fell over ten feet.
