The regional stage of the All-Russian Olympiad of Schoolchildren began in Moscow. About 30 thousand students of the capital’s schools were invited to it. The participants will be the guys who successfully performed at the previous stage (municipal), as well as the winners and prize-winners of the regional stage last year.
The regional stage runs from January 10 to February 22. The Olympiad will be opened by competitions in the French language and world artistic culture. The stage will end with competitions in geography and technology. Schoolchildren from all regions perform the same tasks and compete for the right to enter the final stage, the victory at which gives significant benefits for admission to universities.
More than 143 thousand students of grades 7-11 became participants of the municipal stage. Most often, the children chose mathematics, Russian and English, literature and social studies.
Special conditions for the municipal stage were organized for students with special educational needs. Following the results, the students will perform at the regional stage in literature, Russian, English and Italian, economics, social studies, ecology, law, mathematics and history.
The organizer of the All-Russian Olympiad of Schoolchildren in Moscow is the Moscow Department of Education and Science. The Center of Pedagogical Excellence coordinates the first three stages.
The tasks of the All-Russian Olympiad of schoolchildren were prepared in the following areas: English, astronomy, biology, geography, computer science, Spanish, history, Italian, Chinese, literature, mathematics, world art culture, German, social studies, fundamentals of life safety, law, Russian, technology (including the new profiles “Robotics” and “Information Security”), physics, physical education, French, chemistry, ecology, economics. The competition includes four stages: school, municipal, regional and final.
