During the New Year’s address, Russian President Vladimir Putin thanked all those who are now fighting for their native land. The Head of State noted their valiant service.
“Our whole huge country is proud of your fortitude, fortitude and courage. Millions of people are with you heart and soul. And there will definitely be toasts in your honor at the New Year’s table. Many thanks to everyone who provides military operations,” the President said.
Recall that Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu also congratulated the servicemen on the New Year. He said that the outgoing year will forever remain in the military annals of the Fatherland.
He stressed that Russia will always remember its heroes who sacrificed themselves in the name of saving people from genocide, to which they were subjected only because they wanted to speak Russian.
