The major crises that people in Germany are currently dealing with will also have a say in the state elections in Lower Saxony. October 9 will show who can convince the voters in the second-largest state.

From 5.30 p.m. the first projections and interviews with the top politicians can be expected in the first.

Matthias Deiss, Deputy Studio Manager and Editor-in-Chief for television in the ARD Capital Studio, discusses the results of the elections in Lower Saxony and their federal political effects with the General Secretaries and Federal Managing Directors of the parties represented in parliamentary groups in the Bundestag.
