More than two thousand students are studying this year at the basic department of the Moscow State Educational Complex (MGOC), located on the territory of the Technopolis Moscow Special Economic Zone (SEZ). Compared to last year, their number has increased by almost 200 people, said Vladislav Ovchinsky, head of the Investment and Industrial Policy Department.
The most popular are IT areas: information systems and programming, network and system administration, information security of telecommunication systems, as well as graphic design, additive technologies and mobile robotics.
“The expansion of production facilities of residents of the special economic zone of Moscow and companies operating on its sites, as well as the opening of new enterprises stimulate the demand for young employees. For example, the need for only one cluster — medical equipment and pharma — is estimated at the level of 1500-2000 specialists until 2025. The basic department of the MGOK allows you to prepare in-demand personnel for innovative industrial enterprises. Many programs are tailored to the specific needs of employers. Thus, after completing their studies, students will be able to quickly find a job in their specialty,” said Gennady Degtev, General Director of Technopolis Moscow SEZ.
The basic department of MGOK “Technopolis. Personnel Reserve” has been located on the site “Printers” of the special economic zone of Moscow since 2015. Every year it attracts more and more students. Today it is one of the centers of vocational education in the city.
Technopolis Moscow SEZ is a territory with a special legal status, where there is a preferential business regime for investors. The area of five sites (“Printers”, “Alabushevo”, “Micron”, “MIET”, “Angstrom”), where high-tech enterprises of the SEZ are located, exceeds 223 hectares. The total area of the production buildings is 550 thousand square meters. The volume of investments of companies that have localized production on the territory of the SEZ of the capital exceeds 80 billion rubles. Technopolis Moscow SEZ has been becoming the leader of international and national industry ratings for several years.
