The key points have already been worked out in a law-ready manner in the last few days. According to Habeck, the legislation should be completed by the end of October.

These ensure the availability of the two nuclear power plants after the end of runtime operation at the end of this year,” says the minister. A leak still has to be fixed for the Isar 2 nuclear power plant.
Federal Minister of Economics Robert Habeck (Greens) is said to have reached an agreement with the operators of the nuclear power plants on the emergency reserve. From 6.15 p.m. he will comment on this at a press conference held by the Ministry of Economic Affairs.
Habeck had proposed a limited nuclear power reserve. Two of the three remaining nuclear power plants in Germany are to serve as an emergency reserve until mid-April to produce electricity when the winter is harsh and energy consumption is high. It is about Isar 2 in Bavaria and Neckarwestheim in Baden-Württemberg. It was actually intended that all German nuclear power plants would finally go offline at the end of the year.
