Russian Senator Alexei Pushkov reacted to the election of Liz Truss to the post of head of the Cabinet of Ministers of Great Britain.
In Telegram, he expressed the opinion that there is “nothing surprising” in this.
“Nowadays, there is an anti-selection process in Anglo-Saxon countries when it comes to leading government posts,” the parliamentarian wrote.
Recall that the British came to protest in front of the Prime Minister’s residence. They oppose Liz Truss, the elected head of government, amid rising electricity prices.
