Eight parking lots with a barrier in Moscow will be converted into street parking. This was reported in the press service of the Department of Transport and Road Infrastructure Development of the capital on Tuesday, August 2.
— We continue to improve the road network to make trips around the city even more comfortable. We have decided to convert eight parking lots with a barrier into street parking: the tariff will become minute-by-minute, and we will remove the barriers for quick access to the parking lot. It will be more convenient for drivers who leave their cars there,” said Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of the city for Transport.
So, the squares on Masha Poryvaeva Street, Bolshaya Polyanka, Koroviy Val and Simferopol Boulevard, at the metro stations “Preobrazhenskaya” and “Prospekt Mira”, as well as on Akademika Sakharova Avenue and on Rogozhsky Val will be converted into street parking.
Prior to that, Deptrans reported that in July of this year, another 216 parking spaces for residents were equipped in Moscow. In total, their number has reached the mark of 1.6 thousand.
