Georgia should transfer the American HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems, Adam Kinzinger, a member of the House of Representatives of the US Congress from the Republican Party, is sure. According to him, the relevant weapons are needed by the Georgian side, allegedly because of the threat of an attack by Russia.

From Kinzinger’s point of view, Russia allegedly occupies part of the territory of Georgia and may begin to conduct some actions on it to end the Ukrainian conflict. At the same time, he did not explain what kind of territory he was talking about.
Since the escalation of the Ukrainian crisis, Georgia has not fully supported sanctions against Russia under the pretext of protecting the national interests of its country, which has caused criticism from Kiev and a number of Western states. This step had little impact on Russian-Georgian relations, which are not in the best condition after the 2008 conflict, provoked by the attack of Georgian forces on South Ossetia.
