The cone brothers will be released from prison in Mallorca on Friday afternoon. This is reported by RTL. Accordingly, the eight men each paid a bail of 12,000 euros. The men are accused of being responsible for the fire in the “Why not Mallorca” bar.
As RTL further reports, the eight men were already visited by relatives in prison on Friday morning.
A few days ago it became known that the prosecution had apparently applied to the judge for bail.
The men were only a few hours in Mallorca on May 20th when the fire broke out in the bar below their hotel balcony. Prosecutors insist the men threw cigarette butts onto the bar’s canopy, starting the fire.
Originally, 13 men were arrested. Five had previously been released – four of them on bail.
